There are many resources available for lost and found pets

• Social Media and Networking is a powerful tool to help try to reunite lost pets with their owners.

• Scan EVERY lost per for a microchip, this can be done at most local vet offices.

• If the lost pet has a microchip, notify the microchip company that the pet is lost.

• It’s important to note, not every dumped pet is dumped by the owner.

• Before further steps are taken, such as contacting the shelter or a rescue, try to foster the pet as long as you can while using the resources below in hopes of the lost pet being reunited with an owner.
