Alvin

Alvin’s story is one of the harder ones.

He and his mama, Monica, spent their lives shut away from the world in an outdoor kennel, never getting the chance to learn that people could be kind, homes could be safe, and life could be more than simply existing.

When Alvin came to us, he was scared. Unsure. A boy who had every reason to question the world around him.

But he has come so incredibly far.

Alvin now loves going for walks, running around, and—possibly his favorite—being talked to in the sweetest baby voice. ❤️ Little by little, his personality continues to come out as he realizes he is finally safe.

What Alvin needs now is a calm, quiet home and a patient person willing to meet him where he is. Someone who won’t rush him. Someone who will celebrate the little victories. Someone willing to show him, day after day, that not all humans are bad.

Alvin has already survived the hardest part of his story. Now we want him to experience the best part: belonging to someone.
