On January 8th, Second Chance Dog Rescue Mansfield rescued 12 dogs from a horrific hoarding situation. Among the terrified dogs included a terrified, heavily pregnant mama we named Liberty who is now safe in our Director's home.

We stepped into a place no living being should ever exist. The air burned with ammonia, years of built up fecal matter covered kennel floors, fleas and rats were everywhere, and dogs were forced to survive in filthy cages.
 
Rescues like this happen without warning, and to be ready to respond again and again, we urgently need monthly donors whose ongoing support allows us to step in immediately when these dogs need us most.
